Dave Clancy released his second album, Live Our Own Dream on April 25th. Building on his debut album The Path (2020), Dave continues to craft deeply resonant folk music, blending rich storytelling with evocative melodies. The third single and title track from the album will be released on March 7th. The track puts Dave’s multi-instrumentalist skills to good use where he contributes vocals, guitar, piano and pedal steel guitar. He is joined by Eamon Brady (beats, electronics and synths), Eamon Murray (drums), and Conor McCreanor (bass).
A native of Galway, Dave is a versatile musician whose songs and finger-style guitar playing combine the acoustic folk of Nick Drake while maintaining strong links to the Irish folk tradition.
