Redwood
Formed in the summer of 2024, Redwood is a new Limerick-based band blending alt-country, alt-folk, and alt-rock. The group features the songwriting talents of Damien Drea, Graeme Dalton, Sandra Drea, and Andrew Mooney. After making their debut at The Record Room in last November, they have been busy writing and arranging new material. With diverse influences ranging from Neil Young and Johnny Cash to Arcade Fire and Nick Cave, Redwood is preparing to record their debut EP in late 2025.
Joyce
With a sound that defies simple categorization, JOYCE is an alt-pop artist who has emerged as one of the most intriguing new voices in Irish alternative music. Blending Afrofuturistic elements with gothic elegance, she has forged a sonic and visual identity all her own. Her music weaves together seductive melodies, deeply emotional and introspective lyrics, and a mystical, atmospheric allure. By seamlessly fusing cyber-futuristic beats with timeless vocals, JOYCE is establishing herself as a compelling force in the alt-pop and avant-garde music scenes.
Zkellies
Zkellies is a captivating live electronic music project that defies convention, performing techno music by hand and foot without any of the genre's traditional hidden structural devices. The trio, made up of long-time Irish underground stalwart Andy Connolly (Naive Ted, Unscene) alongside Dan Walsh (Fixity) and Killian Barton (Bill Karnation), rejects the use of backing tracks, sequencers, or click tracks. Instead, they perform a series of short, musical phrases, with the two drummers building a set in the same way a DJ would, creating a unique and respectful live version of loop-based, dancefloor-focused techno music. While the music is semi-improvised and experimental, their primary goal is to provide music for dancing in a new and different way.
