"Putting the pints back in to Friday lunchtime"
We have an amazing free lunchtime gig for you as part of our Summer Sessions with Personal Vanity Project at the Record Room at 1pm - Free Gig
The Summer Sessions
A host of Limerick music acts both nationally and internationally renowned will perform an intimate set in the one of Limerick’s favourite venues. The Record Room and Wired 99.9FM have curated a line-up that showcases the best in homegrown talent. From indie floor filler anthems to melodic pop and pulsating electronic beats moving into poetic hip-hop—each gig promises a unique sonic experience.
The series of gigs aims to capture a snap shot of the current vibrant scene in Limerick. Every night will be professionally recorded and engineered by Mike Gavin and Eoin Greaney, and mastered by Richard ‘Wav’ Dowling. The gig will be thoughtfully compiled for a vinyl album, paying homage to the influential Reindeer Age album released in 1990, ensuring that each performance is forever etched into musical history. It's a celebration of the past, the present, and the boundless creativity that flows through the city.
This collaborative project between Limerick artists, the Record Room, Wired 99.9FM, and WAV Mastering signifies a commitment to celebrating and nurturing Limerick's vibrant music community. Together, they bring you an extraordinary series of gigs that embodies the spirit of creativity and community.
